In a different society, with a genuinely free, critical and unbiased press, you might be right. But that’s not the America we live in right now.

The vast majority of the media will give the Left a pass for absolutely anything while screaming bloody murder at anything remotely like it done by the Right.

Two examples are the way President Bush was demonized on Iraq and Afghanistan while President Obama was immune from criticism on his mishandling and fecklessness in those areas – and from his intervention in Libya.

Another example is the difference in how President Nixon was demonized by the press for obstruction of justice while trying to protect some employees of his for participation in a minor breaking and entering he never authorized as opposed to Mr. Bill, who actually committed perjury and obstruction of justice in its worst form, inducing other people to lie for him for his own benefit about something he actually did personally.

It’s worth noting that President Clinton was quite properly disbarred for what he did. President Nixon never was.
